| Are you looking for something to watch or listen to this week? Here are a couple of ideas! |
|
Do you know the number to call or text if you or a loved one is in a crisis?
988 is the number for the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline. You can call it, text it, or chat on the web.
988 provides 24/7, FREE and confidential support. When you contact 988, a trained crisis counselor will answer the phone, listen to you, work to understand what you're going through, and provide support and resources.
If you come to Parenting & Mental Health on Saturday at The Reser in Beaverton, our emcee, Tara Rolstad, will make sure you save 988 as a contact in your phone!
Watch this video to hear about 988 in Tara’s own words.

Guest host Alessandra Torresani is joined by artist Alex Alpert to explore how art can act as a coping strategy when faced with mental health challenges. We will be sharing information and resources throughout TD Awareness Week, but you can find all of it in one place on our blog, including videos from people living with TD.
