Hello,

We are quickly approaching the creative workshop for Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month (TDVAM), hosted by Domestic Violence Resource Center (DVRC) Counseling program. Participants need to register for the event, so we ask that any youth who'd like to attend (or parents/caregivers who would like their youth to attend) to please call for information and registration no later than Monday, February 26 by 7:00 pm. Registration will close after that date and time. The phone number to call is 503-521-7997; interested parties can state that they'd like to attend the teen workshop and they will be connected to me or Izzy for registration. Please encourage folx to leave a voice message if they happen to reach our voicemail. We will call back as soon as possible.

Please see below for information and the flyer attached to this email:

What: Creative workshop to honor and celebrate TDVAM with youth who are 14-18 years of age. The content is from A Window Between Worlds workshop curriculum, so it incorporates creativity and art. The event is open to the teens in the Washington County Community and the youth do not need to be a counseling client or complete an intake for counselling services (we will have a participation waiver and consent form).

When: Wednesday, 2/28/24 at 4:30-6:00 pm.

Where: In-person or virtual attendance held at the Family Justice Center of Washington County (FJCWC) located at 735 SW 158th Ave, Suite 100, Beaverton, OR 97006 -or- via Zoom (link to Zoom meeting will be provided to participants).

Event flyer is attached - please feel free to post and share the flyer. Please contact me or Izzy (Cc'd on this email) with any questions.

We look forward to seeing youth there!
