OHA sponsored advance skills trainings: Attachment Based Family Therapy
These trainings, organized by the Association of Oregon Community Mental Health Programs with OHA support, are for mental health providers serving those struggling with suicidal thoughts, ideation or behaviors. Attachment Based Family Therapy (ABFT): ABFT is an empirically informed family therapy model specifically designed to target family and individual processes associated with adolescent suicide and depression. April 24-26, 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Register by following this link.

Free Youth SAVE (Suicide Assessment in Various Environments) Trainings
Youth SAVE (Suicide Assessment in Various Environments) trainings at no cost (normally a $250 value) as a part of a statewide effort to expand training capacity. Youth SAVE school and community based mental health professionals with tools to assess for- and intervene with- youth who have thoughts of suicide. The training includes 7 hours of synchronous learning and 2 hours of asynchronous learning, all delivered VIRTUALLY. These trainings are excellent for anyone with some behavioral health experience (i.e., peers, QMHA, etc.) and above. Trainings offer 7.25 NASW CEUs and they meet the Adi’s Act training requirements.
